Types of extinguishing fire ( आग बुझाने के प्रकार)
to talk about extinguishing fire-
• मैंने दो मिनट पहले मोमबत्ती को बुझाई थी।
• कैंंडल का धागा - wick
• किसी चीज को सतह पर रगड़कर बुझाना - stub out
If we say it's easy to fire but difficult to extinguish then it wouldn't be wrong. Because in English there are different words for different ways of extinguishing fire so let's see how to talk about them and which word to use for certain kind of fire extinguishing.
For example -
• [put out , extinguish] = आग बुझाना
• कैंडल बुझा दो। - put out /extinguish the candle.
• सिगरेट बुझा दो। - put out/ extinguish the cigarette.
Now, here are some different words usually use for different type of extinguishing fire.
• फूँक मार कर बुझाना - Blow out.
• फूँक मार कर कैंडल बुझा दो
blow out the candle.
• फूँक मारना - Blow
• आज मेरा जन्मदिन है तो मै ही कैंडल बुझाऊँगा।
today is my B'day so only I'll blow the candle.
i blew the candle just two minutes back.
• कैंडल के धागे को चुटकी से दबाकर बुझाना - snuff out
• आपको मोमबत्ती को बुझाने के लिए चिमटे का उपयोग करना चाहिए।
you should use a tong to snuff out the candle.
• सिगरेट बुझा दो - put out the cigarette
• सिगरेट को एश- ट्रे मे घिसकर बुझा दो।
stub out the cigarette in ash tray.
• जब मैने मम्मी को देखा तो मैने सिगरेट बुझा दी।
when i saw my mom, i stubbed out my cigarette.
• यदी तुम जले हुए पटाखज को घिस कर नहीं बुझाते हो तो आग लग सकती है।
if you don't stub out the brunt crackers, it may cause fire.
• कोई चीज(हाथ,कपडा़) मारकर आग बुझाना - beat out
ये तब use होता है जब कोई चीज(कागज,कपडा़,बाल,नैपकिन) आग पकड़ ले।
• हमे जलते हुए कपड़े को कलछी मारकर बुझाना चाहिए।
we should beat out a burning clothe with a spatula.
• हम किसी भी जलती हुई चीज पर कंबल डालकर आग बुझा सकते हैं।
we can beat out the fire by dropping a blanket on it.
• Firefighters - आग बुझाने वाले।
• Fire Extinguisher- आग बुझाने वाला यंत्र।
• Douse - किसी जलती हुई चीज पर बहुत सारा पानी या liquid डालकर आग बुझाना।
• यदि आग काबू से बाहर हो जाए तो आग बुझाने वाले यंत्र से आग बुझा दो।
if fire goes out of control, use the fire extinguisher to douse the flames.
• घर मे आग लग गई और फायर फाइर्टस आग बुझाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।
the house caught fire and firefighters are trying to douse the fire.
• कल हमारी टेबल मे आग लग गई किन्तु हमने जल्दी से आग बुझा दी।
our table caught fire yesterday we doused it quickly.
