How to use "Used To" in English

Used To

Rule :- Subject + Used To + Verb (Ist form) + Object

भूतकाल की किसी आदत या हमेशा होने वाली क्रिया (करता था) को व्यक्त करने के लिये 'Used To' का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।
जब हम 'Used to' बोलते हैं तो वर्ब का आखिरी अक्षर 'D' का उच्चारण 'T' की तरह होता है और चूंकि अगला शब्द भी 'T' से शुरू होता है तो लगता है की एक ही 'T' है अरे इसका उच्चारण 'Use to' जैसा लगता है ।

'Used To' के प्रश्नवाचक और नकारतमक वाक्यों में 'Did/Did not' का भी प्रयोग किया जा सकता है । 'Did' के प्रयोग के बाद 'Used to' की जगह 'Use To' लिखा जाता है । भूतकाल की आदत व्यक्त करने के लिये 'Used to' का प्रयोग होता है परंतु वर्तमान समय की आदत को व्यक्त करने के लिये हम 'Use to' का प्रयोग नही कर सकते ।

'Be Used To' का प्रयोग वर्तमान में किसी चीज का आदि होना या अभ्यस्त होना या अभ्यासी होना की स्थिति को व्यक्त करता है । 'Be' के रूप है - Is, are, am, was, were, will be, shall be । यहाँ 'Used To' के बाद, संज्ञा, सर्वनाम या क्रिया का Ing रूप (Verb+Ing) आता है ।

कभी कभी 'Used To' को 'Would' से बदला जा सकता है ।
